Director of Albatross Boat Licencing Pty Ltd is Mr Vic Manskie who is a professional teacher with over 25 years of teaching experiences. Vic’s qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Diploma of Teaching, Cert 4 Workplace Training and Assessment, Child Safety Blue/White card, Coxswain qualifications, recreational boat licence (RMDL), Jet Ski licence (PWC) to name just a few of his credentials.
Vic was born and raised in Bundaberg, attending Bundaberg State high School and Wide Bay TAFE College (fully qualified Plumber, Drainer and Gasfitter) before heading off to Melbourne to join the Royal Australian Navy as a Radar and Sonar Plotter. Since his Navy days, Vic has attended University in Brisbane to do his Bachelor of Education at the Queensland University of Technology. Vic has been around water all his life as a recreational fisherman, water skier and competitive swimmer since knee high to a grasshopper. Albatross Boat Licencing Pty Ltd was established by Vic in 2012 and is fully endorsed by Maritime Safety Queensland to offer training and assessment through the BoatSafe scheme to people seeking a boat or jet ski licence. Albatross now operates out of both Bundaberg (Saturdays at Shalom College) and Hervey Bay (Sundays at Xavier Catholic College). Vic is assisted by his lovely wife Dot who keeps him on task and takes care of all the bookwork and correspondence.
