Once you have completed the online theory component, please call to book in for the theory, practical training and assessment component. We run courses nearly every week in both Hervey Bay and Bundaberg.

Training and assessment: Boat = $300. Jet ski = $300. Boat and jet ski = $550 when done on the same day.

3. Complete the theory and practical assessment.

Please bring the certificate from the online theory component, your driver's licence or some form of photo I.D. At the completion of the course you will be presented with the 'Statement of Competency' which has a life of 6 months. You must have turned 16 before presenting the 'Statement of Competency' to the Transport Department to get it endorsed on your driver's licence. A fee will be incurred at TMR for driver’s licence endorsement.
