You can do the course within 6 months of your 16th birthday. At the completion of the course you will be presented with the 'Statement of Competency' which has a life of 6 months. You must have turned 16 before presenting the 'Statement of Competency' to the Transport Department to get it endorsed on your driver's licence.

Allow a full day for any course, depending on numbers. Courses will be capped to allow all training to be completed within daylight hours.

Please bring the certificate from the online theory component, your driver's licence or some form of photo I.D.
